Our library writers, called Creative Quills, had a ball at the 28th Annual El Reno Fried Onion Burger Day in El Reno, OK on May 7th! We met hundreds of folks interested in writing and shared with them info on writing classes at Redlands Community College, Creative Quills Writing Group at the El Reno Carnegie Library, and How to Write, Publish & market Your Book at CVTech. All of our writers got to share their projects, including Alton “Tuna” Dobbins who had his new book CROSSBOW REVENGE available for autographing and Julie Marquardt of Word By Julie, who wrote instant haiku poetry on an old-fashioned typewriter for visitors to the booth. Over all, we met loads of cool people, and they got to meet our writers!!! So, as I always say, WRITE ON!
